I was in Austin for 2 days and ended my evenings here both nights, that’s how much I liked this spot. Classic dive bar vibes, in the absolute best way! Cold beer, fantastic prices and the owner provided impeccable service behind the bar. Cozy environment but still lively enough to be exciting - will be back the next time I’m in town for sure.
Shhhhhh if I lived anywhere near here I’d be a regular. Cheap libations amazing atmosphere and laid back bartenders! What more can you ask for. I’ll find a reason soon to back! Cheers!
An upstairs long-established eclectic dark bar is our kind of place. The bartender was great, quick with a drink, and grabbed us up some Barflys tee shirts. There's a great restaurant below, and the combination of the two places makes it a fun place to be.
Owned by the same people as backlot apparently. We walked in and asked when happy hour was.. the bartender chuckled and said 24/7. Solid spot that my friend’s parents have been going to since they moved here in the naughts. Holds fast
